BATTLE OF THE POTOMAC XC 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS

XC CHAMPIONSHIP:  MD vs VA vs WV vs DC

*NOTE:  NO PETS are permitted on the grounds of Smokey Glen Farm

 

Where:   Smokey Glen Farm, Gaithersburg, MD

When:    November 19, 2011

Onsite Packet Pickup and Registration:  9:00 am to Noon

First Race:  12:45 pm (Middle School 2.5K)—Boys go first; girls 2 min later

Eligible Runners:  any middle school or high school cross country runner from WV, DC, MD and VA (two teams compete in each race:  MD and VA)

Seeded 5K Races (must have 10 scoring runners per state or jurisdiction)
  • Seeded Boys - MD vs VA vs WV (WV on VA start line; DC on MD start line)
  • Seeded Girls - MD vs VA vs VA (WV on VA start line; DC on MD start line)

OPEN 5K Races (Varsity and JV)

  • OPEN Boys MD vs VA
  • OPEN Girls MD vs VA

OPEN 2.5K Middle School Races (6th, 7th, 8th Graders)

  • Middle School Boys
  • Middle School Girls

INDIVIDUAL RUNNER ENTRY: 

  • $26 per runner
  • ($35 onsite "day of" registration:  limited to 30 on Race Day)

FIELD SIZE LIMIT:  500

REGISTERED RUNNERS BENEFITS:

Nike DryFit Team singlet or tee (Singlets guaranteed to first 400 registered), barbecue chicken dinner.

  • Medals to Top 15 finishers in OPEN 5K races
