Washington - Financial Relief for Family Caregivers
 
 

American Red Cross - Oak Harbor, WA - provides emergency food, housing, clothing, and financial assistance to individuals of all ages in need. Call 360-257-2879.    

Catholic Community Services - Lacey - provide food, clothing, and rent/utility financial assistance services for low-income families. Call 360-407-7595.  

Children’s Hospital & Medical Center - private, not-for-profit regional pediatric center. Providing health care appropriate for the special needs of children. Financial assistance is provided based upon family need and hospital resources. Accepts third party insurance. Call 206-526-2000.

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance - provides information on cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship issues as well as support groups through Patient and Family Services. Provides a financial assistance fund for cancer patients undergoing treatment at their Center. Patients must complete an application and interview process to demonstrate their financial needs. Hopelink (formerly N.E. King County Multi-Service Center) - offers limited financial help and food for low income families. If client has been evicted or is forced to move, agency may provide partial rent for 1st month, and/or help with utilities. Contact them at 425-485-6521.  

WA Dept. of Social and Health Services - (AFDC) Aid to Families - provides financial assistance and medical coverage to eligible children and their caregiver-relatives. Eligibility is based on income and resources. Contact them at 425-649-4000. In Seattle, call 206-368-7200 or 206-272-2140. 

Northwest Leadership Associates - Operation Blessing - provides limited financial assistance for rent or mortgage payments, emergency needs in situations of catastrophic loss (fire, flood, earthquake), utility bills (water, electricity, gas). Requests will only be considered if a letter is attached from a pastoral or agency representative. Payments will be sent directly to the creditor. Contact them at 206-706-9525.
