National Multiple Sclerosis Society - provides referrals for
financial assistance for respite care to those family caregivers
who can’t afford such services. For further information

SOBRA Medicaid Program
- is a medical assistance program which helps Alabama
caregivers pay medical bills for children under 19. Call
800-362-1504 for more information.
Mobile Aids Support
Service (MASS) - provides eligible individuals with funding
for medical care, housing utilities, transportation, legal and
dental expenses. Contact 334-471-5277 for more information.

Private Fuel Funds -
there are non-federal dollars available from local fuel funds,
obtained from others throughout the state of Alabama who make
contributions into this fund when paying their own utility bill.

number of the fuel fund nearest you, or go to
www.nationalfuelfunds.org. You can also

information on how to qualify for financial assistance regarding
