I'm a single parent of 15-year-old twin sons; they'll be
16 on December 18. One son has multiple physical
disabilities and has moderate intellectual disability. How
does a single parent/caregiver strike the balance to take
care of one child while not stifling the experiences of the
other?. I'd love any support
and ideas on this.
Thank you!

Please find a friend or relative to do things with your one child who does not need special attention. i've found that when the needs and attention is not given, the child will suffer as he grows older and he'll feel like he was abandoned along the way. ball games, pickle ball, walk in nature, a class in woodworking, taking in a play, visiting a college campus, bowling, picnic together and so much more.
