I have a 28-year-old who has been disabled since birth
and he will never be better. He has a multitude of
illnesses, both physical and mental. I know there are plenty
of others that feel as I do. Our son is in our care and has
been all of his life.
We are getting older and having more health problems
ourselves. We are looking for more information and support
for people like us.

Dear S,
We are in the same situation. Our son is 30 years old and profoundly disabled. There are no support groups for us. It is either groups for caring for elder parents or support groups for young children. The future can look overwhelming. Hold on to faith and love. It is often all we have.
