I am a caregiver to a young woman who has chronic
migraines, focal, petit and grand mal seizures, along with a
traumatic brain injury.
She enjoys traveling and some
places we go tell us they can't legally charge me since I am
a medical aide, yet others insist on charging for me to be
there. I was wondering if you could tell me what is
appropriate in this situation and how we should respond.
Thank you for taking time to help.

I don't know about everywhere but if the young woman rides any form of public transportation paid for by Medicaid, then you are allowed to ride free as her caregiver. This is limited to one person.
