CommentsMy Grandfather had ALS. I facilitate the Northwest Ohio ALS support group through the Northern Ohio ALS Association for pALS and their families. Please be in touch with your local ALS Association through the national website: http://www.alsa.org/ . They can provide a world of information. They also have support groups available for both the patient and caregiver that can be very helpful as you journey through this disease process. Reach out to meet others who are living with this disease. Also, if your husband is not already being treated by an ALS Specialist, you may wish to consider seeking out a Neurologist who specializes in treating persons with ALS. My best to you and your family. You will be held in prayer.
