From Dedde in Maine I have been a caregiver for almost 40 years. My best advice or tip I could give to anyone is to give them love and to really listen to the elderly. They may be older, but they have feelings just like you. Treat them with respect and loving care all the time. From Kaye in Canada Do not give up as I did. Do whatever you have to and stick it out until help comes. I was not able to cope mentally and abandoned my spouse. It will haunt me forever. The best ideas and solutions for taking care of  your  loved one often come from other caregivers. Please post your ideas and insights and we will share them with your fellow caregivers.
