'10 Never Again

Soon it will be Two Thousand and Eleven
Having survived another year seems like heaven
As our friends frolic with glee
And the ball drops on the T.V.
A small voice inside cries,
“What about me? What about me? What about me?”

Yet, for many who care for mother, father or lover
This will be a night like any other
With undergarments to change
Meals to make and wounds to cover

What I'd ask of you, my good dear
With the glimmering hope of a new year
Is to make a Caregiving Resolution
That caring for yourself is part of the solution...continued

	The Caring Hearts research study seeks participants to help test an online program designed to help caregivers provide assistance to a loved one with heart failure. Participants can receive $50 for visiting the Caring Hearts Web site and completing two online surveys. To qualify: You must be providing support to a loved one with heart failure and who is 65 years or older. Must have an email address and access to a computer with a high-speed Internet connection.   If interested, please visit http://surveyconsole.com/t/AUVTZC6ir
		This study is being conducted by the Oregon Center for Applied Science with a grant from the National Institute on Aging.
