Long Distance Caregiver - Coping With
Emotions |
|
By Catherine Murphy, R.N. |
|
Being a long distance caregiver has
a unique set of problems. I have
been on both sides of the coin, and
know that the emotional drain of
being too far from our loved one to
be of direct help, can be
devastating. How can one describe
the fear that envelops you when the
phone rings? ......Continued

Carenotes |

If someone is interested in
becoming a Caregiver provider what
steps are required? For example an
elderly woman from my church is
currently providing licensed daycare
for children but she would like to
retire from child care. She does the
child care to generate income to pay
the taxes on her home. Since she is
getting older she thought becoming
an Adult Day Care provider would be
less strenuous and allow her to
continue to generate income.
Any
suggestions?
